クリスピークリーム・ジャパン

Thanks to　おねーちゃんでやっと日本のKK食べられました＾＾

「しゅっちょの帰りに遊びに行くよー」と姉から連絡があり、お昼休みに携帯に電話をしたら「いま新宿の高島屋～」というので「！！し、しんじゅく？！じゃ、じゃあクリスピークリーム買ってきて！！」と道端で大きな声で叫んでしまった（笑）。「なにそれ」と姉。私のアメリカ滞在中に2回も遊びに来た妹とは違って、さすがに東海での認知度はそれほど高くないらしい＾＾
「どこにあるの？」と聞くので「サザンテラスだけど、行けば行列があるから分かる」といい加減な説明をしてみる。しばらくして「前から歩いてくる人がみんなドーナツの箱を持っている・・」そして「橋の上まで行列ができている・・」と逐次報告が入る＾＾（私は橋ってなにかも分かりません＾＾）
姉によれば、行列に並んだら「オリジナルグレイズだけを1ダースとかのセットで買う人は別の短い列に並べて、それでも1時間待ちだった。私ってなんて気が長いんだろう・・・」だそう。
おお、お姉さま、ありがとう。私だったら絶対１時間なんて待たないし＾＾


姉が買ってきてくれたのはオリジナルグレーズの１ダース。ダース買いだと1500円なんだそう。お、それって結構お得だね。「半ダースでいいよ」と言っておいたんだけど、｢半ダースのセットはなかった」そう。「待ってる間にドーナツもらったけど、死ぬほど甘かったよ・・・」と言うので、「まあ、そうなんだけどね・・・」と。
で、いつものようにレンジでチン。箱にはアメリカと同じように1個8秒って書いてあるけどうちのレンジは900Wなのでちょっと長めにやってみる。試行錯誤の結果17秒がベストという結果に（っていくつ食べたんだと）。ふわふわしゅわしゅわのドーナツ、持ち帰りのものでもなんだかとってもおいしく感じてしまったのでした＾＾

Krispy Kreme (アメリカ編)

As you can see in the old entry, Krispy Kreme Doughnuts was one of my favorite "American" foods when I stayed in the United States. I thought I'd never have them in Japan, but they finally open the first KK store in Japan on Dec.15th, in Shinjuku-area.
I've heard that there always a long line in front of the store, people should wait for "at least" one hour to get "just" doughnuts :)
Although I like KK doughnuts, I don't think it's worth to be in a line more than 15minutes :D I hate lines.
But my big sister did that for me. She had been in a line for about 1 hour to get ones for me.. it must've been annoying being in a line for 1 hour.. :) Thanks to her, I got 1 dozen of the original grazed, the most popular doughnuts from Krispy Kreme.
KK recommends us to microwave it before eating, 8sec per piece. I think 8 sec is for like 1500W microwaves, so I did cuts & tries, and found out 17sec will make the best with my 900W.
Anyway the fluffy and "melt-in-the-mouth" doughnut from KK is really worth to try! (but 1 hour waiting is not worth, I have to add)
